Do you do all the work?

Yes, I do all of the work which means when you hire me, you will work directly with me. I do not have any employees or sub contractors, unless specified.

How long will the project take?

This depends on the exact needs and kind of a project. For minor projects such as business card design or social media covers it may take from couple of hours up to few days. Major projects such as brand identity or web design takes about 3-5 weeks. This can be done quicker if necessary, but I generally recommend at least three weeks for most projects, to ensure that the appropriate research and creative output is the best it can be.

What exactly will I receive?

This depends on your needs, however in terms of deliverables this could include logo files, stationery, styleguides, website files, social media avatars and so on. You will also receive consultation, support & research on my behalf all throughout the project, and after too.

What does it cost to hire you?

I have no set price list, but rather I listen carefully to what potential clients require and put together a unique proposal based on their needs. The best way to get a quote or more information is to send me an email outlining your requirements. We can then line up a time to talk in more detail. It’s also important to remember that you are not simply hiring me to ‘design a graphic’, but rather, to listen to your needs and to build a relationship to help your business grow.

Can we still work together if we live in different countries?

Yes, in fact the vast majority of my clients are from various countries of the world. Business is simply conducted via email, phone and video chat as needed. If you are in the area, then it would be great to meet.

How do you accept payment?

For most projects, I request a 50% down payment to schedule in work. I accept payments via bank transfer, PayPal or cheque. The exact details and terms will be provided in my proposal. The final 50% will be paid on completion of the project, prior to releasing the final artwork.

Can you start now?

Possibly. My focus is always on current clients, and I won’t work on more than two projects at a time. That’s good news for those who hire me — they get a lot more of my time and attention.

Final note

I sincerely request that you trust me to do the job you are paying me to do. That you will take on board my suggestions, and ideas, to be in your best interests. I am not an art-worker, and therefore, I will not tolerate any form of micro-managing, or forced art direction during the development of the project, unless you are art/creative director.
